Nach den 2 Niederlagen zum Anfang der Rückrunde (Besonders Bitter war die Niederlage gegen unseren direkten Verfolger Cressier) wollte unser Zwü zu Hause gegen Alterswil die ersten Punkte in der Rückrunde holen und ging hoch motiviert ins Spiel. Dabei ist zu erwähnen das die Ausgangslage klar für den FC Alterswil sprach: Im Hinspiel hatten wir mit 3:0 verloren und in der Tabelle sind wir 5 Ränge hinter dem FC aus unserm Nachbardorf.

Unser Trainer Rolf konnte auf 15 Spieler der 2. Mannschaft zurückgreifen und versuchte mit klugen Wechseln und Rochaden dem Gegner das Leben schwierig zu machen. Trotzdem konnten wir die 3 Treffer in der ersten Halbzeit vom FC Alterswil nicht verhindern. Während das einte oder andere Tor vom Gegner mit Glück behaftet war, konnten wir bei unseren Chancen das Glück nicht auf unsere Seite zeihen. Das zeigte sich besonders deutlich anfangs der zweiten Halbzeit als Thomas Raemy mit einem Schuss aus schlechtem Winkel nur den Innenposten traf und der Ball via Torhüter im Aus landete.

Trotz gutem Einsatz und phasenweise gutem Spiel mussten wir anerkennen, dass die Chancenauswertung vom FC Alterswil besser als die unserige war. Am Schluss stand es 5:0 für den Gegner.
